The Humboldt Forum in the Berlin Palace will open at the end of 2019. In 2008 Italian architect Franco Stella submitted his winning designs for the construction of the new building. The completion date is now getting closer by the day – and every day it becomes clearer just how the architect is recreating the architectural and urban splendour of the old palace and transposing it into the twenty-first century.
The Humboldt Forum invites people to find out how things in our world are related to one another, discovering the strange in the familiar and the familiar in the strange. Visitors can already explore, experience and understand the world as a whole through current exhibitions and events.
